Registration

Your Speaker Pass will be automatically registered and emailed to you a week before the event.

We advise you print this pass in advance of the event to avoid queuing at the registration desk. 

As a speaker, we offer guest passes for any colleagues you would like to bring with you to the event. Please send the below details for any passes to your contact by Friday, 31st January.

Event A-Z

Presentation slides

Submission deadline: Please submit your presentation slides by Friday, January 31st.

Updates and backups: While you can update your presentation after the deadline, we strongly recommend bringing a USB backup to the event.

Session details

Time allotment: Solo sessions range from 10 and 30 minutes (your contact will have confirmed the length), including Q&A time. We suggest reserving 5-10 minutes for audience questions.

Introduction: The chair will introduce you before your talk. Please ensure we have your correct bio, job title, and company information.

AV equipment and technology

Laptop: Your presentation will be loaded onto the conference laptop in advance. Please either send it beforehand or bring a USB for the AV technician.

Screen resolution: Ensure your presentation is in 16:9 format.

Microphones: A lectern microphone will be available. If you prefer to move around while presenting, please inform the AV technician, and a handheld microphone will be provided.

Videos: Any videos or audio must be embedded within your presentation. If you have videos embedded in your PowerPoint, bring the video files separately as backups. Please note that HD films may not work, and all videos should be in Windows format (wmv, not mov).

Using your own equipment: If you plan to use your own device, please notify us beforehand and arrive early to set up and test with the AV technician. Apple users will need to provide their own VGA connector.

Mac users: If you’re using Keynote or Mac software, bring your own laptop and adapters, and arrive early for testing.

On the day
Arrival: Please arrive at the venue at least one hour before your session start time and make your way to the Sustainability Expo stage to meet the Conference Producer.

Speakers lounge: As a speaker you will have access to the Speakers Lounge which is located to the right once you are through registration. This is a separate room off the Expo floor containing complimentary refreshments and is a quiet space to take meetings, work quietly or network with fellow speakers.

Lunch vouchers: Please collect these from either your Conference Producer in the conference track or at the Speakers Lounge.

Post-Event

Presentation sharing: All presentation slides will be made available on the event platform after the event. This will be live for 30 days.

Opt-out: If you prefer your presentation not to be shared, please inform us beforehand or the conference producer on-site.

Pre event
2-3 weeks before the show: We will introduce all panellists and the moderator via email.

Moderator’s role: The moderator will take the lead on panel preparation and will attempt to schedule a joint conference call. If a call is not possible, please share discussion points via email with the moderator.

On the day

Pre-event meeting:
Head to the conference room to meet with the chair, other panellists, and the conference producer.

Introductions: The chair or moderator will introduce you to the audience and provide each speaker with 2-3 minutes for opening remarks.

Panel discussion:
Each panel will be 40 minutes, this includes Q&A time. Typically 30 minutes will be discussing, and the remaining 10 minutes will be for audience questions.

*For any larger panels with over 4 panellists and a moderator, extra discussion time will be accommodated.

For solo presentations only

The online event platform will launch on Wednesday, January 22nd.

As a speaker, you will be listed on the platform agenda and speakers page. You will also receive login credentials to access the platform for networking opportunities.

You will receive an email with your login credentials, including your username and a unique Badge/Registration ID.

*Please note that this Badge/Registration ID is separate from your event pass confirmation ID and will be shared in a separate email.

Once you receive your user details, please log in and complete your speaker profile.
